Moving workouts around and making changes to your training schedule is super simple in the MōTTIV training app!  



To TEMPORARILY Move Specific Workouts Around Within Your Training Week 


Let's say your pool is closed for maintenance on Monday this week so you have to swim on Tuesday instead. You can easily move your Monday swim to Tuesday for this week only:

  1. Click on "Training Plan" in the left-hand menu on desktop, or in the tabs on mobile
  2. Press and hold whichever workout you want to move, then drag and drop it it onto the day you want it.


Nothing more needs to be done, and your schedule will go back to a Monday swim the following week as normal.


Note: *Brick run workouts can only be done on a day where you have a bike workout.



To PERMANENTLY Move Specific Workouts Around Within Your Training Week


Let's say your plan presently has you swimming on Mondays, but you have decided you want to always swim on Tuesdays. To make this move permanent in your training plan, follow these directions:

  1. Click on "Schedule" in the left-hand menu on desktop, or in the tabs on mobile
  2. Click the "Get Recommendations" button
  3. Press and hold whichever workout you want to move, then drag and drop it it onto the day you want it
  4. Click the "Update Training Plan" button when you're finished.



To Change the Number of Workouts in a Week and/or Your Weakest Discipline 


  1. Click on "Schedule" in the left-hand menu on desktop, or in the tabs on mobile
  2. Click the "Get Recommendations" button
  3. Move the slider back and forth until you've set the number of hours you wish to train in a week.
  4. Click the "Update Training Plan" button when you're finished.
