When you look at your pace chart in your account, you may notice a gap between Zones 2 and 3 for pacing.
This gap is MEANT to be there. The graphic here shows where that gap would be seen in your Zones chart.
This gap is meant to be there (in other words, your pace zones are correct) because the space in between Z2 and Z3 is no-man's land -- it's too fast to be Low Intensity/endurance building, too slow to create any sort of training effect.
This is based on a pyramidal training structure, which is what we use in the MOTTIV app. Science shows this is the most effective structure for training, hands down.
